Quote approvals have been part of Quotivity since day one. From the beginning, it was clear that manufacturers needed real control over their approval workflows — not just a rubber stamp, but a smart, configurable process that could handle the complexity of how they actually work.
Today, Quotivity's approvals feature is one of the most-used parts of the platform. Customers run every kind of approval flow imaginable, all powered by Quotivity's rules engine:

We've rebuilt the quote review screen from the ground up, based directly on customer feedback. The goal was simple: give approvers all the information they need to make a confident decision, fast — without having to chase down details or open the quote in another tab.
Here's what's on the new screen:
Quote Activity Panel: A full timeline of everything that's happened with this quote — when it was submitted for approval, who's reviewed it, and what the outcome of each step was. The approval request explanation field is also displayed here, so approvers always have the full context behind why a quote is in their queue.
Approval Request Details: This panel surfaces the specific rules that triggered the approval request. Rather than wondering why a quote landed in the queue, approvers can see exactly what threshold or condition was met.
Quote Details: Key properties from the quote record — including rollups and rich text fields — all in one place.
Line Item Details: A full view of every line item on the quote, including columns that aren't shown on the customer-facing document. No more approving quotes without full visibility into what's actually on them.
Quote Preview: The customer-facing quote, right there in context. Approvers can view it alongside all the supporting information, or expand it to full screen.
Both the Quote Details and Line Item Details panels are fully customizable in Quotivity settings. You can choose exactly which properties from the quote record and line items to display on the review screen — without affecting anything the customer sees.
The new review screen is designed around a single idea: approvers should be able to act quickly. Every piece of information they need is organized, visible, and in one place. No extra clicks, no missing context, no delays.
